The founder of the Redditvision Song Contest, u/laneyflitt participated in the contest ten times since debuting in the very first edition. Their best result also came the same edition, when they finished third with 78 points.
Whilst formally remaining a moderator of the contest up until edition 28, following edition 5 they had mostly withdrawn from their moderating responsibilities, as well as only sporadically participating in the contest. Later they held the subreddits hostage as they refused to leave the mod team on reddit and therefore owned the subreddits until being pestered to hand them over for several months. Eventually they outed themselves for being a very sad and hateful individual and they were promptly permabanned, but continues to try and spy on the community which is very pathetic.
They failed to qualify on four out of six attempts, and on each of these occasions they refused to vote in the grand final as a result.
